Some quick questions regarding SWG.

Yes, I'm another disgruntled DAoC player.
Yeah, I'm gonna try out SWG.

A few questions.

1: What's the monthly charge for SWG in Euros?

2: Since I'm playing from Europe, does the unoficial Euro server (Eclipse?) have lots of people online at peak hours (between 6pm and 12am)?

3: Are most of the bugs worked out?

4: Is there a free month when you buy the game?

That's it for now, and Hi :)

2: Yes, but the majority of players are still American

3: Most have been resolved, general gameplay is relatively ok, but broken and bugged classes are still broken and bugged.

Which classes are Broken/bugged?
I'd like to know, so I don't bother playing them.

No, no they aren't :( I've been playing a week now and I have to say that SWG is the most bug-ridden game I've ever played. There are countless bugs, thousands of them, ranging from minor annoyances like warping mobs to big annoyances like weapons & items (and even structures) just disappearing randomly all the way up to entirely broken classes (Droid Engineer, Bio Engineer among the worst).

That said however they seem to be pursuing an aggressive patching regime at the moment, some bugs get quashed just about every day. A few news ones get added daily too, but on balance I'd say they're doing pretty well.

It's also still very playable - having a great time mostly, just have to approach it differently from a lot of other mmorpg's :)

I wish some of you would play on Intrepid :(

I didn't play on Eclipse because it was riddled with people who exploited the "group faction point" bug in the first few days... I wanted to start on a new server without these exploiters. Seems now, what with AT-STs running around everywhere that those exploiters pale into insignificance.
