To my surprise I discovered I still had a real ability respec for my huntress left. She has RR4L5 and is only a few k away from RR4L6. This means I can respec 36 points. I would appreciate some feed-back on the several choices I’m considering.
It may be important to say that I use my huntress mainly if I can’t find a balanced group with my spirit-master. So if I play her it’s solo or in a stealth group. My present spec is as follows:
Bow 40
Spear 39
Beastcraft 33
Stealth 40
(This means with + items I have about 50 or just above for Bow, spear and stealth.)
Present realm abilities:
First aid 2 = 3 + 6 = 9
Ignore pain = 14
Purge = 10
Left 3
Total = 36
(Was planning to go for aug dex -> falcon’s eye -> Mastery of pain etc).
I want to drop purge. In the way I play now purge is only usefull when I get jumped by an Infiltrator or Nightshade. With see hidden nerfed and my high steatht this does not happen too much. Purge is pretty hopeless in the cases I get mezzed imho.
I’m considering the following respecs
Choice 1
First aid 2 = 3 + 6 = 9
Ignore pain = 14
True sight = 10
Augmented dexterity 1 = 1 rp
Left 2 (going for aug dex 2, falcon’s eye, mastery of pain…)
Total = 36
Trade Purge for True sight: Like I said I think Purge is too expensive. TS would give me the ability to snipe incoming infiltrators and would be a real asset for a stealth (or any other) group who wants to clear a milegate. As stealthers camping milegates are quite common now in Odin’s and Hadrian’s it might pay off to spend 10 points in True Sight. On the other hand i would have to give up lots of defensive or offensive skills.

Very defensive but as I use my hunter mostly to play solo or stealth groups. It might well be the best choice. Staying alive in the fight is very important as you can’t count on back-up from a healer. I have capped my stats with spell crafted armor and weapons and sometimes I can use a buff-bott… im not sure if the extra 18 con points from aumented constitution will give me extra hit points. Would like some feed-back on this.

Augmented dexterity 2 = 1 + 3 = 4 rp

Avoidance of Magic 1 = 1 rp

Drop ignore pain for avoid pain 3 and some extra offensive abilities. I heard avoid pain is better than Ignore pain but I’m not yet convinced about this.

Any constructive feedback on this would be appreciated. Especially from hunters who have some experience with these abilities.
