Thanks to the 'special DAoC-randomizer' I got a couple of 95% 16.5dps 2handed Weapons.

That's :
1x Arcanium Dwarven Great Sword - 16.5dps 5.0spd 35% bonus when enchanted
3x Arcanium Great Spiked Hammer - 16.5dps 5.2spd 35% bonus when enchanted

they're going out for 300G per piece since they were crafted during chain-crafting.

If you're interested post below.

Ingame tell won't neccesarily work, since I turn tells off from time to time.

I'll buy a sword, might as well spend my money on something =) Then when you can make higher qual i'll hand this one back for salvage and get discount on a nice new one? :)

How/where can we do the trade?

For whatever reason, the 16.5dps 2handed Axes, Warcleavers, require -less- skill than a Great Axe now.
They're green to me, so I won't craft one unless I get an order for it.
Base price for a Warcleaver would be 364G +55G per retry.
Best quality should be 97% now.

Ok, maybe a n00bish question, but: What are 16.5 DPS weapons good for? I always assumed the cap on DPS is: 1.2 + 0.3 x level, so max would be 16.2 DPS at level 50. And AFAIK the cap applies BEFORE qual, so the increased DPS doesn't help here either.

Thanks for the help.

Actually you're right, in this patch a 16.2dps weapon will hit harder than a 16.5dps one, assuming they're the same quality and speed. This is because 16.5dps is classed as lvl51, and there's a small penalty for using a higher lvl weapon than you.

Here's the proof: http://www.yeggs.net/underfoot/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=general_rvr;action=display;num=1019337366

So now the best 2H hammers in Midgard are the following, listed by normalized RELATIVE dps:

Against lower opponents (assuming miss rate is zero):
Shimmering Arch. Great Hammer: 54.9
Shimmering Arch. Great Spiked Hammer: 53.5 (2.5% worse)
Great Ice Breaker: 52.5 (4.4% worse)
Hammer of Black Ice: 52.1 (5.1% worse)
Brilliant Baln's Mephitic Bludgeoner: 47.9 (13% worse)

Against even con opponents (reflecting the bonus to hit differences):
Shimmering Archanium Great Hammer: 60.4
Shimmering Archanium Great Spiked Hammer: 58.9 (2.5% worse)
Great Ice Breaker: 55.1 (9% worse)
unenchanted Archanium Great Hammer: 53.6 (11% worse)
Hammer of Black Ice: 52.1 (14% worse)
Brilliant Baln's Mephitic Bludgeoner: 47.9 (21% worse)

That's just for hammers. Also, the Great Hammer is a bit slower so hits a bit harder first time.

In 1.52, RR5 lvl 50 players get their caps changed to lvl51, so a 16.5dps weapon would be better then

After patch 1.52 your DPS cap @ 50 will be 16.5 if you are RR5. Same applies to AF cap, 102AF per item (51 for cloth).

Something for the Sword using Crit-blades outthere :

Arcanium Great Sword, 16.2dps 5.4spd 35%bonus 97%Qual

300G (+whatever you want to add)

Come to Bledmeer if you want one. At the moment I got two of those.
