Solution for bg duellists

Hello all this is my first post here, tho ive been lurking around for a while Having read quite a few posts about people adding on 1v1s i thought of an idea which would allow those who want to duel without realm mates 'adding' on their fights. All u have to do is cap ur bg toon (or level up to 30 if u cba )then buy urself a bg medallion and port to the ghost bg that is bg2. As everyone knows nobody ever goes there and u should be able to duel till ur hearts content safe in the knowledge u will never be added on . What do u think?

There are plenty of places in Thid where groups never set foot for 'duelists' to indulge themselves in their misguided sense of honour.

That said it would be a good idea if it didn't involved the extra levelling. That and a large number of solo players are stealthers, so it'd be difficult to find each other on a map as large as the BG-map (they arn't different, they just point the keep door at a different bridge )

Actually m8 im pretty sure that once u reach 350 rps and cap thid u will automatically port to the next bg i.e bg2 if u stand on the pad with a bg necky on so u wouldnt have to level

Maybe, but you'd get 1-2 people that wanted the extra advantage of being 4(?) levels higher. Then more people would do it, pretty soon you'd be in one of those 'Have to XXX to compete' situations.

I'm not sure that works though, does this mean that in theory I could have a lvl16? (the BG0 minimum level) in Cale as long as I managed to hit the RP caps of the other BG's? I know i'd get XP while I RvR, but you get the general idea of what i'm getting at right?

theoretically i think u could, but the only way would be to sit in ck leeching during a keep take. interesting idea eh? the xp would probly get u a few dings hehe. I see what u mean about people levelling to 30, but i was only really meaning for the people interested in 1v1 'fair fights' to arrange meetings via this forum. presumably their sense of fairness and honour would prevent them from levelling to gain an advantage Have to w8 and see what the soloers think of the idea i spose

I'd rather stay in thid, I'm pleased with the solo fights I get there.

If you're capped for the prior battleground, but not of sufficient level for the next one, your battlegrounds medallion will vanish and you'll be left on the pad when the blokes do their little spell. I've tried it.

I think this actually is a pretty good idea. Just one level to 25 to get to BG2. the players in there should con the same, otherwise its not a fair fight. Use emotes to communicate and dont steam in at the first sight of a member of the opposition maybe. There will always be a fool around that wont play fair, but thats just to be expected.

Prefer to stay thid if the place is too dead it sux as well.. just go to areas ppl not often go to
ruins etc often nice duels there
