hey abra;) there aint much to solo around raum at 40, u could exp on the entrance mobs there with a small grp quite nicely though. The swamp has sum mobs that u can solo though, frogs, orms and in a few lvs snakes and crabs;) On the outskirts of skonda before the swamp theres a camp of sidhe elf things that u can do easily solo at 41.
Shame exp grp split, but ppl were really clashing so wasnt much fun anyhow heh. id be happy to show u around sum spots sumtime m8;)

Solo low 40s you won't make much inroads into Raumarik unless you have one of the traditional solo classes such as bonedancer or Spirit Master. Mid 40s+ will be fine in some areas.

Vanern is better at 40 if you are going solo and want some variation. In particular, the Hagbui drop some not bad skald gear though watch for wandering agro.

Spindelhalla is traditionally the the solo place for 40+ but it gets very heavily camped at times by people with bots.

Varul believe it or not is also good 40+ solo and is not so heavily camped.

You can also do Drakulv Missionaries at the entrance to Malmo and work on your faction with Svartalfs.

Frontier also has a wide variety of choice in the best setting of all realms. If you choose your location carefully, you'll also get outpost bonus.

The often underused LFG flag is worth switching on at times though ;)

The tree thingie outside Hagall is good, you will need a bot as well though tbh.

All the mobs are yellow/orange to 50

One addition on Varulvhamm:

If you intend to do some xp-ing there , make sure you do the Werewolfs Bane quest at lvl 43. This will give you a 1h or 2h weapon of choice which all wws in Varulv are weak to. You will literally slice through them with that weapon.

Some nice SI spots are the Caldera in Delling crater with lvl 40-45 mobs. There is a named spawn in the center you do not want to mess with tho :)
Best to take the north stairs to get into the Caldera , the south stairs you usually get aggrod by a zerg of poison clouds....

On the North Side of the Caldera is a nice spawn spot of Morvalts.
From the Caldera , if you head to Tuscaran Glacier you will run into some Hrimthursa fellas , you can find some more of these at the plains near Tuscaran Glacier entrance...

If you really want a thrill get yourself a group and go exploring Iarnwood , Darkness falls pales to it in the aggro rating :)
Also if you do this , do not expect to walk out :flame:
