Guys,

Please can all solo mages ditch their characters in favour of melee toons.

Mages only add and generally mess up the game. no one wants to fight them, they are worthless.

If you cant ditch them because you really do sux that badly, please take your mage and RVR only in the pennine mountains with the other mages. Please leave the main stream RVR areas to the serious melee players with skills.

Also to my melee kinnsmen and brothers. Do NOT hesitate to add and zerg down any caster you see in an RVR zone. If you dont they will barbacue your cahunas the next time you get a nice fight! trust me KOS them all.

Imho I found mage much harder than BM to play solo. So few hp/abs etc. so you die much easier.

If I say mage I mean animist =)

fyi it takes a lot of skill to play a solo mage

target man, nuke, nuke, nuke, nuke, target next man yadda yadda, one can only imagine the hours of practice put into it.

me tank, me hit stuff, im fairly sure mage classes's qb's are more than melee. kk tnx

Well...

To be honest I dont see the slightest difference between casters and stealthers, other maybe than that its easier to avoid casters since you can see them comming.

That would mean that all stealthers and casters are removed and only light, heavy tanks and hybrids remain? Now wouldnt that be abit booring gamewise ?:)

Not to mention, that people who add on casters/stealthers, will add just as much on tanks so you really wouldnt get away from the problem, bro!:)

i can imagine the skill in a tank, slam, backstyle, parry/block/evade style backup'd by taunt style.. takes years to master.

actually .... no

eg. my bm is ml10, so i need 4 main ml's set (these are spike, tendril, demo, that encumberance one) already that's 4 slots taken. then i need taunt, and rear snare. 2 more (6 total) then i need my side chain (3 more slots, we;re at 9 mater!) flurry, charge and TW (hmm, getting a bit large now, 12 slots) i need an assist or target change macro (13 slots) i need backup BL's set incase i don't get stun immunity (inoxerable defeat + zone of unmana = 15 slots)an item charge like battler = aoe interupt (+1 = 16 almost 2 full qbars!) i'll have my after evade and after parry chains put on too for solo fight (+5 = 21) endurace pot (22) .. so as you can see, a tank can use probably up to 3 qbars in some situations to be able to get max utility out of his toon.

my eld uses 1 'main' spell qbar and another for ra's/arti/ml's (4 ml, 4 arti, 2 ra). ofc a last qbar is used for buffs but i don't count that.

to kill a caster as a tank.. use charge and spam anytime.

PA -> CD ups dead

Light tanks use charge and heavy tanks use magic immunity thing :/

My bainshee:

10 for all ml's

base dd, cone bolt, cone dd, ae bolt, ae dd, ae ns, ae snare, taunt, cone root, rr5, power barrel, end barrel, cl resists, cl5, staff charge, zo bracer (use 1 and 2), cb (1 and 2), sash, then generally 3 assist macros for grp members, 3 self buffs, purge

so thats about 37 and that doesnt include my horse macros which are essential for rvr, id hardly call that easy mode? fair enough not all ml's uses (depends on situations)

And there are other spells i could add to that list too
