Mikey posted something about getting to know Solaris/Sun and as I'm doing much the same I thought I'd post an update on where I am so m00.
Just finished SA-I [or Systems Administration I] and it was pretty cool. All the generic unix stuff was old hat, but the Sun-specifics were new and fun.
Glad I skipped the 'Fundamentals' course tho, as I have a slight unix background [linux] I believe it wouldn't have done me any good.
Doing SA-II in a week, and something evil called 'Veritas [isn't that for *shudders* mainframes -ooh er don't let the good Rev'nd Flatus hear me diss the big boxes ] File System Administrator after that.
The future looks pretty bright hehe, and I'll prolly be taking several courses on the subject. [anything as long as it's not java =PPP]
So, that what I'm up to Down side for me is that I won't be dropping in very much in the coming weeks
