is it that 1/3 is easy to find 2/3 is hard to find 3/3 is very rare?

or is it just totally random?

or does it depend on the scroll?

Seems to depend on the scroll, the ordinal number has nothing to do with its rarity. It will take some time before people realize the value of scrolls, some seem to drop constantly while others almost never does.

I found the first 2 scrolls for the item im after very easy, in fact they came within 1 pull of each other, yet after hours of mob killing im still trying to find the 3rd scroll, so you could be right, at least in my experiance. But it could be coincidental.

according to the extensive farming done on the US servers, each scroll seems to hav a set rarity (depending on difficulty of drop mob and drop rate) , some scrolls insta sell for 10p while others go for 100s of g, itl be a while before a decent market has developed here but a good guide to go on is the rarity and common lists here which seem to be a good guide as to rarity.
