Well, booked friday, arrived sunday, here for 2 weeks.

Whats happened since saturday, bans, unbans etc?

Any recommendations on stuff to do? going to see a bullfight tonight, been to the main strip a few times, been out into the country yesterday as well.

Pretty good so far.

I spent most of my holiday in the web cafe as well. Coudnt sit in resteraunts (sp?) because the ash from the forest fires was everywhere.

Personally I'm for all types of bloodsports. Anything that brings needless suffering to harmless (or in the case of bulls, not-so-harmless) animals makes me feel........

I'd go and see a bullfight. It's not something I'd agree or disagree with. It's probably not for me - but I don't think it's right to stop other morons doing what makes them happy.

Bullfighting is disgusting, more so than most other blood sports.
The bull is worn down over a couple of days before it begins. Needless torture imo.

Bull fighting is like the most evil thing in the world....dont know why humans do stuff like that to animals.

No. You'd be doing that to humans. My ethical sensibilities make me less sensitive to those of animals tho.



However, if I actually saw what went on during and before a bullfight I may well amend my position. But as I haven't, I can't.....

Yo just stopped in the net cafe whilst people go to the modelo-pingo doce for food.

Yes iºm just near albufeira, we went into the countryside the other day, and drove through the area where the forst fires were, was very intense. The only thing you could hear was the wind, no animals, no trees flapping in the breeze, and the whole area was covered in sooty pine ash.

Didnt go to the bullfight in the end, gonna try and go this week if its on. I dont particularly support bloodsports, but its something I have wanted to see.


Best bar is Liquid for music, Libertos have a live band in, which with the pool and the projector screen makes it a cool place to chill in the evenings.

Went to see some stuff in Silves the other day as well, the castle etc, our driver ended up going through the streets around the castle which if anyone has seen typical mooreish ( ? ) layout, will know is labyrinth like, was fucking funny.

I`ll fill in on the other holiday adventures when I get back, or if i get another chance to sneak into the net cafe for half an hour whilst someone else is doing the shopping.
