So off I went to try and make a hybrid thane template..

..and this is what I came up with. Would it work? Gov, som, malice 2h, CW or battler 1h +scalars in it. Yes, skills and some stats are a tad ignored but I am a sucker for 10% cast speed.

I'd sacrifice bit of str to get more quickness and piety and hits. You also totally lack skills (of +11) like mainweapon (better get as good weaponskill as possible, to ensure you actually hit when you melee), shield and SC, get more dex for faster casting - you're not a tank you're a support class - your mission is to first cast with ranged spells enemies and do some melee range combat when they get too close.

Yep, I'm going for the thane template I posted earlier although with some tweaks. Sc is not worth having +11 tho, amounts to about 10 dmg according to seasoned thanes. Thx tho
