It is funny though, saying "you're way isn't right" would mean you're saying(basically), that you're way is right and if you say someones way is right, then, well, it's right.

Yeah i know what you meant.

Though, there's always the possibility there that it SEEMS he think he's always right.

It usually takes two, maybe three, discussion with someone to make that assumption. Simply on the case that on those particular discussions, he was adament in his point or, like you said, believed he was a 100% right.

Could be that on the 4th and 5th discussion, he would've said he was wrong, but as it stands, the outcome is expected and the discussion flows accordingly.
