Ghosts of the Hallowed Sword beloved CEO, Kneb, died yesterday. He was electrocuted while setting one of his contest LAN parties(The Barbys) which shut off his pacemaker.

He was a very heroic CEO, often leading suicide ops and industrial operations himself. He also gave out billions in ISK to new corp-mates, and in-exchange? Requested nothing but they have fun. Hell, he even paid for my account while I was unemployed.

Being his assistant, I had close to 2 years of time flying with Kneb. He was a mediocre pvper, a terrible CONCORD ganker, and he mined pretty good. I happen to know he always had one dream though, ever since him and his kids started Kneb Corp all the way to leading what is GOTHS. We tried for a long time to make it real, but we've had a hard time and have been unsuccessful due to aggressors.

That was to get himself a Leviathan.

So far, our corp has donated 8 billion ISK. That brings our total to 19 bil.

We request that those of you who can, help us in achieving this memorial titan. Or, at least, we are currently honoring him with a few days of silence, something he could never get from us, and would highly respect anyone who helps us in our moment of grief.

RIP Kneb.

i want to believe its legit. not because its a goon that died but because it would be a fucking horrible thing to use as a scam.


but i'm not sure tbh.

whats bugging me the most is the plea for ISK. i mean, if they are a member of goonswarm they would have no problem fixing that.

i dunno. sad if its true tho.

don't they have to btw?

i mean, if they guy really is dead i'm fairly certain they arent allowed to keep charging the account. and if its active (as in someone logging on with it) it needs to be closed because of that as its account sharing/hacked/stolen


someone should mail CCP and tell them tbh

The point is though was it a GS attempt or not? <inconclusive evidence on my part!! Even if they seem to be present in that thread to a very high degree....>
