It's arrived in patches here, the hills of the south highlands (which I can see from my kitchen window) are like big iced buns.

I saw a gritter out the other day, good to see they are getting rid of all their salt when there is absolutely no chance of snow in Northampton at the moment, all we have had so far is an ever so slight frost the other morning. The wipers were enough to clear it from the car windows.

Whereabouts *are* you?

Somewhere north of Glasgow?

Heh, just curious as I used to live out that part of the country.

Actually I was camping up in the highlands in April - it's lovely :)

I'm actually quite central, but I can see Stuc a'Chroin and Ben Vorlich (as well as the Ochills) from the kitchen window.

Oh god yes, it's lovely there.

Last summer I took the bike through to see me old mam in Glasgow then came back home via Crianlarich, Callander and Stirling.

The stretch along the A84/A85 is pretty stunning.
