Cheers Mank Its still snowing mad here atm, heaviest Ive seen for years.
What made me laugh this morning was the asian couple taking thier little boy up the park to see the snow, all done up in hats and scarves and stuff, but the dad still wearing flip-flops with no socks
It's not random though really; low pressure on the left hand side of the country pulls warm continental air up from the south, then the low pressure system moves onto the right hand side of the country and pulls very cold arctic air down where it meets the previous warm air causing a cold front and lots of snow.
But yes, annoying as fuck that we need to get the shorts out one day and Tog24 the next!
Well I spent a very cold morning at Brands Hatch waiting for racing that clearly was never going to happen It was called off at 11am and shortly thereafter I went home. Amazingly coming back up the M6 it was really nice and sunny :/
Sorry, but it's 29°C and beautiful sunshine here in Taiwan today If it makes you feel better, we'll be baked (30-40°C), drowned (over a foot of rain per month), shocked (earthquakes) and blown away (typhoons) in the coming months
some great photos there, I really envy people that get snow fall like that I know it makes travel a nightmare, but its just so brilliant to go out for a walk in a pure white environment, especially on a night time when its so bright.
Well, it was sunny all day when, it being plymouth, we got slightly thicker, slightly colder rain for about half an hour (at a push you could call it sleet), and then it was sunny again.
