Template is fine but i would use braggarts as the bow of choice for sniper spec.

There are numerous reasons for this.

1) The lev10 proc on fools is a bitch for lighting you up in a fight.
2) The lev 5 proc on fools for lighting up your target as being under attack
3) Braggarts is 2 second normal arrow and 3 second crit with max quick and 9%+ archery speed.
4) Braggarts hits alot harder
5) Range arrows from braggarts, sniper specs need as much range as possible
6) The use2 is very nice for distrupting pets\BG

yup very good points mate i forgot to mention i have braggarts as a swap weapon Sunbow also and Immulated so i can change between them when i need to as RF on fools rocks

also for weapons ima gona run with Golden spear and Cyclops shield

Sniping from a tower is fine in theory. In reality though you are only going to be able to tower hump occassionally. Albion would obviously need to hold a tower or keep in enemy territory, with enemy players in the vicinity for you to exploit, and to be honest, I suspect the days of people standing in bow range so you can turn them into a pin cushion are long gone

Bearing that in mind, it makes sense to spec more generally, at least from an RA perspective. I am not entirely convinced myself about the merits of MoS IV. It seems to be a level that is neither here nor there. Certainly, I've read many a post on the CritShot forums and VN Boards where advocates of MoS suggest either MoS III or going the whole hog and getting MoS IV. MoS IV just doesn't give you enough bang for your buck.

If we assume that you will spend at least some time hunting around choke points, then MoS III is the minimum you need to see enemy assassins at a range whereby you can crit them out of stealth.

I would also recommend buying Purge II and IP II, which together with MoS III takes you very nicely up to RR5.

The only comment I'll make about your template is that ideally, you ought to try and avoid using a weapon and shield with any Con or Hits on them. If you run around with your bow equipped, then switch for melee, the extra Hits will be rendered useless because you need time for them to heal up to the new cap naturally, if that makes sense.

I am not a massive fan of low weapon skill, and as there is no huge difference in damage between 50 and 45 LB, perhaps you could consider lowering your LB a little and putting the extra points into your Thrust skill?

Good luck with your Scout anyway, it can be a fun Class to play in the right circumstances

thanx for the info mate i was told to change from 50LB to 45 at RR5 where i will have a few more RAs that will keep my dammage up at the Top end easyer then atm, cos TBH the way i been looking at things is that If as a scout i get into melee combat and i dont get the jump on them iam pritty much sertin iam going down and hard. atm i got MOS3 and i seeing assassins before they get to me so i can open with slam and turn and run. or stay and fight if i feel lucky. but normal if u get one assassin ut of stalth and start to fight u get a nother one poping on u a few seconds after so... . but as far as a temp goes i trying to find somthing that i can use to get me to rr5 then i will spend more time and money geting fully set up. as after RR5 from what iam told is a hole new ballgame for a scout.

MoS5 was the first thing I went for, and damn glad I did so!

Killing an enemy stealther before he reaches you will keep you rolling around laughing on the floor for a couple of hours.
...ok.. I have a lousy sense of humour, but what the heck - I love it !

I was 50 lb when I started out, but someone convinced me to go cap my stealth, and have not more than 45 lb, put rest in that strange skill called thrust - never really used it, but heard it was handy

(Pop SL, start loving your MoS5, Crit shot, RF a couple of times, slam, RF, if they are not dead you can always use your I-Win-Button (FZ))

Keeps my scout fed with rps when I play him, hope it helps!


btw, campin' towers are fun, shoot down a tower in enemy frontier, don't claim it, and wait for the silly enemies to start attacking it - and farm yourself some rps.

If "shooting from a tower" is your one and only aspect, then you don´t need anything except Purge (for NS) and FE (for more damage).

Seriously.. if you want to reliably crit other stealthers from stealth, you need MoS5. I specced it and never regretted the decision. Sure, you´re wasting a lot of spec points which are all "gone" after the initial crit, but on the other hand, you´re getting a lot of kills just by being able to crit first.
