mos 5, Fz, speed bost, desperated bowman, phaseshift, side snare style, back snare style, it's hard to roam with a pure sniper but it's fun.

not only to run away to a tower, it's all around kite and use rapid fire and if you bother to lvl a poison bot it can be deadly with snare/disease and loads of weapons at the inventory. Ah, long wind 2+end regen 3 pots are very nice to kite .

sounds well fuckin silly if you ask me, to go through all that, just so you can use a mediocre template and be pure sniper.

i really would not go full sniper in this day and age no one is solo so if u can fz one of um away u might actually get a kill and then kill the adder

All about play styles really..I like playing sniper cos it suits my playstyle i.e I like stalking things for a while to sus out if the kill is on before going for it..its a challenging style to.
do I get owned alot by melee classes or any class realy ?...yes
But is the feeling alot better when you get a good solid kill?...yes
no- one should dictate how any class is played..thats why we get all this fotm rubbish..but anyway, back to the temp

A solid temp m8..any of the arti bows will give that extra +bonus missing (however my personal Fav is Duskwood immo for hitting power)
1. point though... why SoM? not much use on a sniper tbh (except looking good)..imo swap it out hour feathered wrap for better resists

pure sniper is like 35stealth 50bow 48pf rest pierce (like 12 i think)
so no side stunn or back snare

The most you can get without auto training is 50 bow 46 pf 34 stealth with the odd points in the melee lines...but I think were getting off topic.

nobody goes pf if they have a bb so the side and back snares are usable and very handy.

And what people forget is that as a sniper you get to choose what target you go for. Therefore the getting pwned by melee isnt what you worry about because if the target isnt dead in 3 shots you run away before they close on you anyway. and emote spam laugh as you run stop shoot run stop shoot the fool to death.

if you want my advice....just take any template. You hit other stealthers => you're cannon fodder most likely. You hit some visible soloer => if he gets to you by any means ( qc spells, shieldtank, SoS, whatever, there is so much these days ) you're cannonfodder

And you don't need anything special to camp a tower, just max dex cap and try to get 250 qui and u're sorted. toss the rest in body/energy/spirit/cold resist ( the different types of cc ) and u're sorted....no need to waste tons of money on stuff you will never need =)

Temp looks ok BUT

i would try and cap dex 101 which u have , cap con 101 and cap hitts 400 . it can be done and i would say that is the best for a sniper ( max damage with bow and capped con-hitts = most damage u can take ).

i see you have some items with qui cap , no need for them m8 there is no point going past 250 qui as you dont gain nothing from it . ( your neclace ) .

I have respecced recently to 50 bow 40 PF 31 stlth rest pierce cd.

I have MOS 5 FE 3 Dex 4 .

Feathered Wrap interchangable with SOM is nice.

Play your way for fun m8 . I do get a lot of kills and Mos 5 stops most Stlth from doing you to much damage before you hit them with crit and a couple of RF;s

Temp looks good and is similar to mine but i would cap dex and qui as lilloe has stated. enjoy

I cba posting my template here, but i'm running 434 dex 50 + 17 bow 2264 weaponskill, dex 5 and tough 4, no MOS, 36 PF +25% stat buf, buffbot ofc.

I've posted my dmg screen shots before and get whinged at for e-peen so I wont post those again but needless to say caster crits at between 1100 to 1215 dmg tank crits anywhere from 550 to 800+

Currently play on Glas/Hib

Just wish I could port my ranger over to classic,

Thanks for the different advice. i might try to make SoM interchangeable with feathered wrap but will have to wait till i get the plats.

btw my spec is 50 bow, 40 PF (no bb), 35 stealth, 18 cd and the rest pierce.
