Think this encounter is still bugged and you cant get credit for it, atleast according to GoA, dunno if they fixed it yet..

Me and Roshia done it a couple of hundred times to figure out how to get credit

Only way to get credit is to kill Azar at Plebian camp, when he's in Plebian form. (The only purple con plebian, worth ML exp etc)

We used Paladin, Cleric, Merc, Wind Theurg, and to kill him we had to stun him at around 50% and then take him down fast to 0, before he ports. We petspammed him with 2 bars of low con earth pets to get some to-hit going, then cleric stuns him @ 55 ish and theurg just nukes him down in 3-4 nukes. He cant be attacked with magic when he changed form to Azar though, so need the stun before he transforms.

Just forget to try and kill him at Salamander island, or at Malice island, its not giving credit.

Heh - did this randomly the other day. We accidentally aggroed some plebians coming through, found we were suddenly fighting six or so, kept going, won through, and found we had both Snatcher and credit !

We didn't use any special tactics.

Thats the wrong end of Typhon's.. Plebian camp is at Erinys encounter island, you go over the bridge next to Tartaros encounter, totally other end of Typhon's.


Darzil, how many people were you raiding him? We also got credit once, on ML6 raid with 90 people, could take him fast enough for him to not port

loli duo'd him about 4 days ago with another mincer and gave away snatchers......

At the moment im searching for Snatcher mob, and i came across area with a couple villages and some nasty plebian mobs.

Am i in the right place? Couldnt find any loc for snatchers on vos.

We met him near the villages, between them.

I think we were - 50 shield Pally, 50 Friar, 46 Rejuve/Enh Cleric, 41 Friar and 50 Minstrel with Salamander.

So not exactly an optimised group <grin>

just got it.

was Reaver, Paladin, Cleric and i joined when mob was at 60ish% health. Killed him easy and never morphed or warped around like it says on vos
