Snatcher Bugged??

Ok so.. here's my problem..

1st time I had the chance to get an artifact that I acctually wanted.. we killed the mob.. and got the bracer.. pritty Snatcher.. I looooved the idea of getting it.. the kill went smoothely and then.. the bracer was mine..

but then I went and tryed to activate it and what now?.. I hadn't "done" all of it... I needed the kill (wtf?) and so we went and killed it again... twice.. and still no one got encounter credit.. not anyone..

at this point I reported it to GoA who merely told me they coudln't "guarantee encounter credit" that they would "investigate".. and that I should notify them with the "nature of the problem should it re-occur"... I read it over and over again and I wondered what part of NO ENCOUNTER CREDIT FOR ANYONE they could be missing.. but in the end I decided I'd try again after the next patch and then give them all the info possible to man..

so AGAIN.. we go kill it.. and I write down the exact time, the location, the number of people in the groop, etc.. etc.. etc.. and I reported the damn thing again.. I still don't have any encounter credit.. and goa sent me allmoust "exactly" the same reply.. making me wonder if it's an "automail"... and then on the list of "my stuff" the problem is listed as resolved... when since it is not fixed.. it obviously isn't..

grrr...

(and they still haven't replyed to me att all about theyr charges to my closed credit card with someone elses subscription)

I had this problem yesterday with Fool's Bow. I had the bow and all three scrolls and I got credit for the kill in the log (you have successfully yadda yadda). Turns out I also had to combine all three artifacts into a book thingy by putting one of them on the QB and using it (with the use key + click). If you´ve done that, nm.

things like this can occur if you are using pets or are using a BG for certian group encounters (at least for ML step creid) i dont know about th encoutner specifically but id suggest making sure someone in your group get the kill with a dd or a weapon swing (if THAT dont work then its probably just fucked)

I had this problem yesterday with Fool's Bow. I had the bow and all three scrolls and I got credit for the kill in the log (you have successfully yadda yadda). Turns out I also had to combine all three artifacts into a book thingy by putting one of them on the QB and using it (with the use key + click). If you´ve done that, nm.

Thats not a bug pal, you have to have a full book, which the scrolls form. so put scroll 1 onto the quickbar, make sure u have all the scrolls in your inventory and then use scroll 1 like a potion and it will combine the scrolls into a book, once youve done that you can activate it

Seems like you have to be groop leader, with no battlegroup, no pets, and no magic damage.. to have a chance at getting the credit at all... damn it.. I think this needs to be fixed.. >.< this is just stupid.. >.<
