SMTP Server fucked

I rescently realised I cant send messages via outlook. When ever I send an email via an SMTP account, I get a message back in the form of an email saying:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject:
Sent: 12/12/2002 17:11

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'spanfe@eewewwe.com' on 12/12/2002 17:11
550 not local host eewewwe.com, not a gateway


^^^ ive made up the email address.

Please is there any way to resolve this?

to get any help you're going to have to tell us which server you're attempting to use and how you've got it configured.

Usually that error means you need to authenticate on the SMTP server.

Tick the box "needs authentication"

Nah, its far more complicated than that.

I installed several web servers and php, which I feel has defined some settings which is stopping me send a mail.

If it helps the Barrysworld smtp setting are correct.

you aren't giving us enough info to help you out imo. it seems to me that the smtp server will only allow mail that has users of itself as a target at this time. check your configs again.

I dont want to run a web server, I just installed a few to try them out for experience. However, it seems to have gone wrong.
