Just caus i am wondering about it.
What does the following really do?
cg_nopredict 0
snaps 60
cg_predictitems 0
cg_smoothclients 1
cg_deferplayers 1

I just dont know:(

cg_nopredict = disable client-side prediction (may increase apparent lag if 1)


snaps = sets number of snapshots sever sends to client (to less will give you lag and to many will give you lag to so best to keeping it on default).


cg_predictitmes = enable's a client-side preditiction of items (powerups, weapons, ammo, etc.), 1 is best for net performance, but under bad lag items may jump around or disappear suddenly


cg_smoothclients = not sure what this one does.


cg_deferplayers = defers loading of new models for players that join in the middle of a map until you are fragged. When 1 you won't get lagged when a new player joins mid map using a model which isn't already loaded.

thx think i found what smoothclients does: reduces troubles between players with diverant modems or something like that cant find the place where i saw it though :mad:
