Small problem

Hi peeps..

Looking to upgrade my comp abit now i have SI, it is a touch laggy... but cant do a full upgrade due to money restrictions.. so need to do it bit by bit

Was wondering, i have at the moment :

AMD Duron 800.
383RAM.
Radeon 7000 64mb GFX.

What would be the first thing i should upgrade to improve the game some.. suggestions on what to upgrade to also appreciated.

Get 512 or 1gb of ram.

Yeah RAM first. If you could afford processor motherboard and RAM do all three and get a motherboard that supports DDR RAM then at least 512 DDR

Don't just buy more ram without checking that your mobo can take it. Most should be able to take at least 512MB but if it's running a chip as old as a duron 800 it may not. Upgrading the processor is almost guaranteed to mean upgrading the mobo anyway. You can get a nice mobo and an XP 2100 for about £100 if you shop around. When you have that in place look at gradually upgrading the rest of your kit.
