small medium large shield?

I have been roaming around the web to find any info on wether or not a large shield has better blockrate than a small shield....
But alas have not been able to find out anything.

Is there any difference between using a small shield or a large one?

Any info much appreciated

A small shield can block up to 1 enemy.
A medium can block 2 at the same time.
And a large can block 3.

But, the chance of getting a block does not improve - all shields have a base rate of 5% plus .5% for each point you have in shield.

So in a 1-1 fight, ther is no difference, but if you get adds and have several mobs/albs hitting you, a large shield is best.

But..........................

For things like engage and slam I thinkl you might find that a small shield uses less endurance.

Just something to think about RvR wise.
