Most of you have been there, through no fault of your PC but accepted poor programming by Mythic your game starts running on Valium after an extend period of time. Not talking about the big zerg fights here - polygon shifting in those situations is stressful on your CPU no matter how fast it is. When SI is released (sometime in the next century I believe ) this will hopefully be a thing of the past. But for now?
Picked up on a site with a program (Hare) which may or may not be of benefit. I can't say as I only ran it for a few hours last night and its something that would take a few bites at the cherry (you get 20 free) to work out whether or not it makes a difference. If you do have problems with fps give it a try and whether or not it makes a meaureable improvement in performance let other peeps here know one way or the other. It certainly isn't the Holy Grail of DaoC but if it does give some peeps a more pleasurable time it can't be a bad thing.
Regards
