Slam

Silly question this i know, but iv asked a few people and iv gotten 3 different answers.

1. Slam is based on dex + shield skill + rr.
2. Slam is based on wep skill when you have 1h wep out.
3. Slam is based on the speed of main hand wep, for example a slower main hand wep will allow you to land slam more often x ?).

I think its the first 1 ;P but please enlighten me.

And if its the first 1, how much will my slam rate be affected if i went from 80 dex from temp to 70, and from 50 + 14 shield to 50 + 9 shield.

Not really a silly Question and many I ask say different things also.

Even though I have heard several things I will still have +Blades +shield Maxed and atleast 75/75 dex in 1h mode to be sure in landing the slam often.

Some test say 1h weaponskill dosent matter, others do, better safe then sorry tbh.

I don't belive the Dex effects the slam to hit all to much though as I hade it as low as 15 once, being offensive and I could still get the slams in mostly, but I still think it will improve to hit, so I will have dex at 75.

it is the first one, where they say +rr they mean the extra shield skill from RRs i imagine, your shield "WS" is hidden, i imagine it goes up when you hit RR5 as you can use lvl 51 shields properly.

for using shields you need
Dex
Shield skill (including RR and SC)
Nothing else

Well atm im using crafted wep + shield to cap dex and shield skill, but im wanting battler in mainhand, and i cba remaking full temp just to get it in so i was just gonna put it straight in the crafted weps place, and id have 70 dex and 5 shield in temp.
Another option was to remove all energy from my temp and put dex and + shield skill in, as i mostly solo, energy isnt realy that important for me tbh, what would you recomend i do? ;P

well i too only have +5 shield skill for soloing, i would try to keep the high energy due to the fact scale is weak to it and there are quite a few (not loads though) energy weapon users

yeah, i would have thought so, i have 42+13 (5 SC) myself and its more than enough
