Sell out.

Now that's out the way. Weren't they great?
I first saw them back at Reading 95 before their first album came out and they blew me away. They were just fucking class.

Then their second album came along and sounded too...nice. And then they just sold out completely and now I saw Skin on T4Sunday wearing some Prada or Gucci dress or something and being all lovie. WTF??

Anyway. Started listening to their old stuff and I bought quite a few of their singles. Great b-sides.

I've got "Used" stuck in my head at the mo and it's been on repeat for a while. heh.

They're black, they're white and they really do stink.

I can listen to the music. She's a bit of a munter, though.

some might say that their original 'indie' 'alternative' image was as contrived as Peter from Fame Academy.., so you know, sell outs? nope, just coming clean.

they, like a thousand other bands are pretend alternative music, so the people that buy it can think they're breaking the mould somehow, just like 13 year old slipknot fans.

See MTV2.

Paranoid and Sunburnt and Post Orgasmic Chill are both pretty good albums with some great tunes - Stoosh was a dire piece of crap though, and please don't even mention Skin's new material.

As divergent as it is from her previous work, within the guise of Skunk Anansie, I think your implication that its The Worst Thing Ever is remarkably off-base, when all's said and done. The lyrics to any given song are admittedly contrived and overbearing, but the vocal range and ability Skin exhibits is nigh on brilliant; the sultry tones certainly have her up there with Skye from Morcheeba, or Tori Amos.*

Its not ever going to be on constant repeat, and ten years on, it may well be seen as her clutching at pop-culture straws, but its still a great little number. So leave it alone - capisce?

*An acquired taste, I think.

Look you too close to Ipswich for comfort scum face, all I said was don't mention it.

Why? It's not the worst thing ever, it's just so utterly mundane throughout it's not worth noting down in a music discussion.

I don't even know who you are, but you seem to know too much about my geographical location.
