used to do that - took all the enjoyment out of skiiing.

I have wide feet with high-instep and a "well developed" calf. Therefore, a lot of boots dont fit my feet well and cause extreme pain during skiing (I have to ski through the pain until my feet go numb and then can enjoy it)

so- im getting my own boots so I dont need to do this anymore

yes mate. I tried it on ;)

plus, once I buy the boot, they are going to heat treat it to shap the "inner" boot to my foot even better than now.

they are also going to shape an insole to supoprt my foot better as well. The Technic boot is designed with a larger "opening" at the top which takes my calf. the salomon/nordica are rather tight on that region!
