Been playing this over the weekend EA : Skate


its fantastic, it takes Tony Hawkes games sister out for dinner, sleeps with her and never calls her. Its that good!

Totally changes how you play and think in a game, only use the buttons to move, x for left leg and A for right. Everything else is done with the sticks, e.g. for an olly you pull the right stick down, then push it forward to olly. different ways you rotate/push the right stick means you different moves, left stick controls the body and triggers use left and right hands for grabs.

I cannot explain how different this game is, no uber 35550000000 degree spins with higher than rooftop jumps like Tony Hawkes, its all very realistic

I really like the demo i keep trying to 360 out of the pool and end up making a video of me falling on my head. I am really tempted to buy the full game.

pre-ordered it and completed it on release weekend. so addictive and so utterly good. still playing it every day and it's just as fun just cruising around the (huge) city. i skated for about 5-6 years, so it's lovely to finally see a game represent skateboarding (for the most part at least) properly. though the camera man's voice/phrases really do grate after a while.

Yeah I bought it when it came out, pretty much played it daily until tf2 came along, completely addictive. The feel of it was great too, just skating around was great fun, nevermind progressing in the game.

But 360 to fs crooked, god that had me tearing my hair out

I ordered this today £27.99 delivered well worth it for the laugh so far.
