well i have seen the mids have tryed to take our relic, and they have done it, we albs have taken it back etc, sure we have failed, but atleast we try....
so how many relics have you taken?
keeps doesnt mather that much before DF comes, more like a pingpong game now.
atleast we albs try to take the keeps back when you are inside defending it, have you ever done the same thing?

So we are weak because we aint taken your relics and you are strong because you can't take ours?

When I last checked /realm it read only one realm has held its relics throughout retail, change that to none and you might get listened too, until then you're just more hot air over emain

Its a little hard to attempt a relic when EVERY single day, there are 40 or more albs in emain trying to take crim

To be honest i really think now that Hibernia is the strongest Realm simply because we have not lost a Relic..
Yes Blah Blah we have not taken a Relic But we have not lost one either and in doing so have shown that we are the No 1 realm @ defending..
Im sure at some stage we will lose a Relic but i also know we are strong enough to take one and that is good to see for this server.Yes Albion has many more players and they will be strong ( as long as the 45 + players dont get bored waiting or updates ) and will always be a force also Midgard have good good players after the power players have gone but both realms dont seem to have the passion that we Hibernia have and in the long run thats what counts..
Flame yes but its the Truth once we do take your Relics they wont be so easy to get back..

Well what to say... it's hard for both mids and albs to try and take hib relics without them knowing about it - since there's always alot of hibs/mids/albs in emain.... and somehow I don't recall there have been many mids or albs defending their relics, when thus was taken - since it's much easier to do that without the other realm knowing anything about it
So IMHO you can't claim your self as defending realm, when it's 1000 times easier getting to alb/mid relic, than too yours.
Not trying to sound pathetic or anything.
Btw I recall that hibs tried to take our relic once - but around 50% of your army got lost in pennine mountains and was killed by greater brown drakes and other funny mobs, and then the rest of your army finally arrived, it took like 20 sec to wipe it out (think about 30-40+ arrived).
And honestly, once you lose your relics, I doubt you can get it back right away, unless you do it while none of us knows about it

Two points:
1) Yes, we're starting to get good at defending, as we have to do it each and every motherloving day.
2) None of the realms can take a defended relic keep at the moment. That means all the relic attempts will be made at "lame" hours.
Two facts of life, live with em or die whining. Personally, reason 2 is the reason why I'm not too keen on even trying to take a relic. What's the use, we would get whined to death and then some people would just come take it back some nice night. With the playerbase in Hibernia it's just easier to sit on our own relics. You could question why I am still bothering to play the game, don't worry, I'm doing the same thing...

As it is now, it's just a watered version of Quake Capture The Flag where all attackers get shot to pieces by computer-guided defense. Doubt people would like to play like that...

I have to go against most of my fellow hibbies on this one. Hibernia are the ones that have not taken a relic, simple as that. Excuses like "we have to defend crim all day" we don't have the levels" etc etc, is just bs.
It is our turn now. The one big reason I see for us failing/or not even trying for relics that much is, we have no strong leader. Many people have lead various raids, and done well. But we don't have the obvious comitted leader. I guess you can say "well you go ahead lead away". That I don't want (of course if lot of people for some odd reason would repeatedly ask me to I would consider it), I just want to enlighten this issue, and that the ones that the hibernians have most confidence for to take command by their own will. We need more relic initiatives more often
common we haven't even made a serious attempt for relic yet.
I think Cuthervaen/Eleasias/Tylar/Kainz/lanvar/someone from lliad and maybe lowbie novamir might be well suited.

the thing that upsets me is why write stuff like:

that doesnt make you better, we albs have tryed to take the relic from you once and failed, while the mids have been the realm that almost always have been targeted by us.
sure the mids took both relics from us at 11 in the morning on a sunday.
i dont call them cowards becouse they took it when we didnt protect it, do you got any clue how hard it is to take a relic when ppl are defending it?

get moving, you got the numbers go and try to take it
and dont come and say that you are better becouse you got your left, both we and mids can take it when you are sleeping...

RvR's main place is EMAIN, who is in HIBERNIA - what i want to say with this, is that it's more comfortable to try a relic-attempt in Midgards frontier -
IMHO, it is easier to defend a relic if the main RvR is being mainly held in your own realm.
Thats my reason and thoughts why we havent had any serious attempts at hibs relics.
