Skald RAs.

I dont know what RAs to get for my skald.
This is what im planing for atm..

First Aid 2
IP
Aug dex 2
Mastery of Pain 3
Aug con 3
Avoid pain 2
Long wind 1

Sounds good?
This is when im like rr6 or something..

And no Purge.. If I get mezzed, I will stay Mezzed.
Purging a mezz is like saying "Hey look at me! im free.. kill me 1st."
Purge might be good, but its not worth 10 points imo.

Purge is one of the best ras imo.

Purge sucks.

Never had it though, so i don't really know what i'm missing.

I solo most of the time and it would be nice on a few occasions.
Purge dragonfang etc. but since assassins are always buffed, they will kill my anyway.

Could be usefull when i duo or in small groups i guess, but i went for avoid pain instead.
I have crap defence and it makes me live longer.
Think it saves me more when i solo than purge would have done and twice as often.

Got a RA stone in my vault and will probably get purge one day when i feel like it. When i'm rr8+ or something.

My RAs are:

aug strength 1
aug con 3
aug dex 2
toughness 2 (not sure if it was worth spending 3 points for 35ish more hits)
AoM 1
MoParry 1
MoPain 1
FA2
IP
AP 2
AoF 1 (ap and aof together is great )

Think i'll go for MoPain 2 next when i get 1 more point.

You have MoPain 3 on your list. 6 points is a lot for those 5% extra chance to crit.
Put some AoM in there.

I have purge on all my lvl 50's and it is one of the most useful RA's you can have(IMHO). I don't know how many times Purge has saved my life both as SB and RM. I actually think that not having Purge = gimping your grp preformance...again IMHO.

...thougness II or even III is always worth having if you have the points for it

in most rvr grps all members have purge, so hopefully a few will purge alongside u and begin too work on the enemy + demezz grp etc.

staying mezzed will only give other grp advantage 8 vs 7

but i guess skalds can stay mezzed i mean what real help do they offer grps?

The gimped Hits on Skald make purge very good. a fricking assasin can PA you and just run of cus if u cant purge the dot(s) u die from em if its a good enough PA....

A dot with crit will also kill you without purge.

I will go for Aug con 3 for AP and AoF and maybe Aug str 2

I try Tireless 2 sprint more in combat but i ve failed

bouh u atleast have some form determination so you dont stand mezzed for 40 secs...

but any skald that doesnt say that his char need lub is lieing (exept rr9-10 skalds that have enough ra's too counter skald gimpness..). But hey maybe u like turning on speed and then running around with crappy weap dam, too each his own
