I highly reccomend Streetlight manifesto as a band, really good ska band seen them twice live, they used to be called catch 22, were decent then too ;d

Apart from The specials and madness only other I can think maybe would be classed as ska at that era would be Bad Manners.

Agree with Pinp, Streetlight are possibly the best 3rd wave ska band, absolutely fantastic live :worthy:

Less than jake (more so the early stuff!) and Reel big fish are good too, and Catch 22 are pretty good aswell. Also Operation Ivy are great, but a bit more punk than ska, same with Capdown.

tis true, but most decent bands <3 the trumpets.. i myself <3 the trumpets in ska...
recently went to see some in camden at the weekend, where most of my m8s came with, cant beat a good ol bit of ska, in my top 3 types of music tbh, prolly 2nd fav type.
