size doesn't matter (much)

Ooo, that Small Form Factor PC really is, well, small :D I know you could criticise it for not having the latest 800Mhz FSB kit, but nevertheless, its still quite impressive. Sadly, though, there's no AGP port which really undermines the gaming potential of any such system :(

As for Athlon64 PC ... mmm :D Personally I think I'd wait until later on this year, when PCI Express finally hits the market. After all, it would be a shame to have a brand new 64bit CPU and then miss out on what is potentially another groundbreaking technology (although ATi are planning some sort of bridge to allow PCI Express cards to function, in a limited way, in motherboards with AGP slots).

Kind Regards

P.S. Apparently to author content for the next Unreal engine, you may well need a 64bit system (although the games themselves should still function on 32bit platforms).

I read about the Athlon64 the other day, I reckon they are over doing the Performance rating.

ah, but apple says that you can't measure a 64bit cpu's performance like you can a pish 32bit one. no matter how slow they seem to be....they're really faster! really! steve said so man!
