Im just about to download that sandra software for me new pc, and it says there are two different sorts. Could one of you wise and wonderfull lot tell which I should download for me athlon

Are you refferring to the difference between ANSI and Unicode Character set versions?
If you are on 9x it seems that you need to pick the ANSI version, if you have an NT based OS then you seem to be able to pick either.
It just says "Intel Compatible" - as in x86 processor which Athlons are.

Sorry mate yes, ansi or unicode. I have XP and they both are for XP apparently
