Single player game.

I'm curious to know how many of you actually play the single player game.

I only want to know who plays it seriously (as they would a good FPS).

It's just that since buying the game I have only ever played multiplayer.

The single-player game sucked really badly in 1.1, so I've never really played it, except as a bit of sniping practise. Patch to 1.1, turn off the fog (can't be done under 1.2), then play the first map in the campaign, and get those longs shots.

1.2 is an improvement, I have been told. Not that I'm ever going to find out.

I've played it when I've been upping/downing and really fancied a game, it's only really good for skills practice like flying or sniping as Will said.

There's no way you can compare the single player game with a single player FPS. There's no story, scripting or even any real sense of progression.

This game is an online game at heart, and the single player mode's just there to get your eye in, and for people with 56k modems and Lou. *grin*
