Since RightNow isn't working - feedback from users requested

I upgraded to W2K Pro.

When I start DAOC, I get the One Moment Please screen. The screen is displayed for about 3 seconds. Then I return to desktop and nothing happens.

Apollo 138a motherboard with VIA chipset (latest VIA drivers installed - 4.39)
Sitecom network card (automatically recognized by W2K as Realtek-compatible)
On-board Soundblaster PCI (automatically recognized by W2K as Soundblaster PCI-compatible)
EWX 24/96 soundcard (disabled)
GForce4 Ti (LeadTek Winfast 250 Ti series - latest drivers installed)
DirectX 8.1 installed
Service Pack 2 installed

Any suggestions?
