From DB's Latest Announcement:

It seems that people are getting carried away with signature lengths therefore a couple of changes are going to happen:

1) Your signature will now only display ONCE per page.

2) A hack will be installed that will put limitations on the size of your signature (I am just reviewing all the available ones first).

Sounds good to me!!

No more unbearably long sigs cluttering up the threads!

Option 1 was a very quick modification.

Once I have found a decent signature limiter I will back out Option 1.

No, you don't understand. There are 2 levels of pleb.

You are in the lowest level, ie one that has no Big Brother watching him or helping him.

Ted is in the DBs_Pleb level now.

Brilliant!!

All you need to do is go to your Profile->Edit Profile. Scroll down the bottom and a new field is available: Maximum lines for signatures

Cant you have different settings for different forums. For example, allow the DAOC chaps their sigs in their own forums but not elsewhere. I understand their sigs are more important as it allows forum users to recognise them in game, and afterall they are the largest single group within the community.
