"I will praise the sovereign, supreme king of the land,
Who hath extended his dominion over the shore of the world.
Complete was the prison of Gweir in Caer Sidi,
Through the spite of Pwyll and Pryderi.
No one before him went into it.
The heavy blue chain held the faithful youth,
And before the spoils of Annwvn woefully he sings,
And till doom shall continue a bard of prayer.
Thrice enough to fill Prydwen, we went into it;
Except seven, none returned from Caer Sidi. "

Epic!

Were just having a discussion with a bunch of people how epic DaoC was because it had great lore behind it.

You mean it was based on great lore? There wasn't enough NPC interaction to actually use the rich lore though.

Re-released with some proper script writing and it would be awesome.

The great lore about Arthurian Knights in Atlantis? Was a good game, yes, but the background of the game was assembled by a teenage American who read a Captain Briton comic once.
