SI Installation problems :( :(

Hi just setup a new, old pc with wireless and am trying to install SI, about a minute through this a box comes up saying :'An l/O error occured while installing a file.This is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file.' it then gives the option to retry (which does nothing ) and abort.

Does anyone know what the solution to this is please, thankyou !

I get the same with my SI disk. Your CD is broke/scratched/corrupt...DL it from GOA website. Try sticking some toothpaste on it to let the light through it abit more.

It wont work if theres a corrupt file tho, but worth a try.

Lol I didn't try toothpaste but it worked when i downloaded from GOA site and was very quick too.
