Shuttle

I'm building a system for a friend, and had planned on using a Shuttle barebones system. The system isn't for gaming, so I don't need the AGP slot, and I'd like an AMD version, since Intel will bump up the cost.

So where is the cheapest place to get what I want, and which Shuttle model should I go for?

I rather like this one. Although I hear there are problems with heat build-up.

Try this place CCL Computers , they sell the Shuttle barebones systems, not sure what they are like so take a look and decide for yourself.

I've considered something in microATX, but she is wanting something that looks nice in the living room, so an aluminium Shuttle cube and a TFT seem to fit the bill nicely. I've seen all those models that CCL sell, but I was hoping someone could pull out something amazingly cheap based on an older mobo. Ah well, it wasn't going to be.

How is the budget? During my trawl for the computer-in-the-lounge thingy, I saw some lovely microATX cases. The Coolermaster ATC-600 and Lian-Li PC-9300. The ATC-600 is particularly cool as it needs a microATX mobo, but it takes a standard PSU, so you aren't really limited to what you can stick in it (apart from the space, obviously). I'm going to buy me one (unless there's something better out at the time) when I've got the TV/DVD/Receiver, because I want to do it in a logical order. :)
