Shuttle p-bios.

What a load of utter bollocks. The BIOS updates were released a couple of months before their announcement that it offered a 30% increase in speed. The news atricle on the shuttle site mysteriously became a dead link after damning reviews about the performance of the new bios.

P-BIOS is mis-leading, you would think it enables PAT on the psringdale shuttles, but no its mearly a boost in speed when using the onboard graphics -a turbo mode.

Read the thread and follow the links Xav, not sure what shuttle are up to. Someone needs to either fix the link on their site or remove the news article completly.

New news, Shuttle fixed the news link on their site and posted new BIOS's. These apprently support trubo mode p-bios (even though the old bios already did) and the p4EE.

Okay if you set your FSB to 199 instead of 200 on a springdale shuttle with an 800FSB CPU you get PAT. Hardly worth it when you can get a better perf increase simply by overcloking the FSb a little bit.
