I was thinking about adding some windows some time ago but decided it would most probably cause problems with overheating.

I like the idea of a small top window. Especially one housng a fan. Just got to wait for Willier to tear apart his shuttle and tell us all about it

Never been impressed with clear perspex windows...perspex is nasty...it looks shit...I'm thinking metal gauze or better red latex...kindof industrial slutty look

HEHE, in that case, you need to poke Xav and get him to send me one

Ive got a rather spinky new case atm which I'll be chopping up soon, but I guess you could probably fit about 8 shuttles in it.

I've just bought the latest PCFormat, having shunned PC magazines for well over a year, buying the last two issues of PCF has been a breath of fresh air. They seem to have a big shuttle boner at the moment, and have some good articles on simple modding and how to make one quieter.

I am considering chopping mine up just to cool the mofo down.

Prob whack a hole in the top just behind the HDD rack.
A simple mesh grill with an 80 or even 120 mm fan in it.

Now i need some cash

If you look on the SFFtech forum's modding section most shuttle users have used two 60mm fans, as an 80 doesn't apparently fit when your using an optical drive in the top bay. Two 60mm fans will move more air as well.

Okay that wins That is a work of art, best case mod I have seen, let alone one for a shuttle.
