Shuttle CPU Upgrade - Why Aren't All Heatsinks This Easy ?

Did a quick Shuttle CPU Upgrade last night, from an 850 Mhz Durion to an XP 2000+ T-Bred, took about 10 minutes, easiest one ever, basically because of the thumbscrew based heatsink and its complementry fitting on the motherboard.

Why don't the mobo manufacturers and the heatsink manufacturers get together and do the same thing, holes around the CPU socket and corresponding thumbscrews on the heatsinks, or even some enterprizing mobo manufacturers could supply matching heatsinks !

I've lost count of the CPUs I nearly knackered or fingers I've nearly sliced through, getting those stupid sprung-lever based heatsinks into place on those stupid little plastic tags on the sides of the socket.
