Its 1am Gmt im tired and frustrated, i have just read the help on the disk, and the system reqs say that u need a 1.4GHZ, i have a 733MHZ, will it still run or may this be the source of all my problems, or actually getting to the validation screeen and my systems specs have no corralation.

Your system specs have absolutely nothing to do with GOA's poor, tired, hamster-wheel powered subscription servers.
850mHz geforce2 gimp machine here, runs fine albeit without flashy water/shadows and with a fair amount of frame-lag in really heavily wooded areas.
As for getting into account details to validate SI.... yep, just keep trying. Or give up, go to bed and get up at 6am or something tommorow to do it when there's least "competition".

oh yeah, thought i would had to upgrade some , got suprised, Daoc is running better then never before

Cureently havin a PIII 800 Mhz 400 ram and Geforce 2 Mx.

So I really dont think u should care so damn bout those "requirements" sure they scared me but everthing looks better and runs smother.

Said this before quite a few times .. I have been playing SI US on a P3 500 256MB GeForce2 MX400 since launch day. Runs far better than "old world" DAoC EU.

Its 8:26 tried website nothing..............

uninstalling SI, then gonna reinstall it, just so im doing something

also im gonna try put in My SI CD-key in the box which appears when you run camalot

In the manual it says something about at the server select screen there is a "Activate Shrouded Isles" option but I can't see it all have got is play, edit account, tech support, credits, and EXIT which ive been doing frequently.

ffs, any time that I get close it says password invalid!!

The password thing is happening to a lot of people.

I suspect that GOA's half-assed website only has one error response (wrong password) and so if the account entry thing can't at least raise the 'system unavailable message' it assumes the problem is your password.

Bleh.

It would be good to hear from anyone amoungst the many who have got that message if they did eventually get to register using that alledgedly incorrect password?
