Shrouded Isles provides 'new epic armour sets'

Every class can collect a full set of armour that is a LOT better than the epic armour you get upon completing your epic quests. All of these dropped parts have the epic armour skin, but are AF102/51. Many of the parts are overcharged, compared to SC, MP pieces.

Not all the parts have been found yet, so some of the attributes are still unknown, but here's a list of the items found so far:

Yes I believe they are for all realms all classes. The picture above is for the infil vest.



the Royal Assassin Vest, is dropped off Fame I think -- one of the four horsemen:

102 AF, 100% qua, 35% bonus
+4 stealth, +22 str, +22 dex +15 con

Same texture as epic vest.

As of 1.59 its reverse proc delves as a 180 hp insta heal -- it has never healed me for less than 220


The boots are

Well, don't forget to mention that these pieces can only be found in the epic dungeons in each realm and that you need about 130 people to complete an epic dungeon. So if you want to get a full suit of this new armor you'll have to be very very lucky since you won't be the only person of your class on the raid and a full set is 6 pieces.

And then the 6 different pieces have to drop cause for all you know you can do 3 raids and get 3 vests or not a single vest.
At the moment there is also a bug with Caer Sidi (the Albion dungeon) which causes the horsemen to reset and you can't killl them then so you have to abandon the raid. This doens't happen every time but it has happened a few times on different servers.

So I would say good luck in getting a full set of SI epic armor

Good stuff. This is what Epic armour should be about. Kudos to those who get a full suit of this stuff (not that you'll need a full suit, what with caps, etc).

This stuff should have an on-demand particle effect so that folks could show off a bit

The mobs in the epic dungeons vary from level 65 to Legion difficulty, I don't know about the hib or mid dungeon but I would say Apocalyps (Albion's end boss) is harder then Legion or Dragon.

read somewhere on vnbpards that there are some items that requires a full set of sidi armor (the before mentioned armor) to be worn.

There's a necklace dropped by Apocalypse which will give some special ability, when you have all 6 parts of the armour.

That's what I've read but it hasn't been confirmed yet, as no one has all six parts of the armour.


tbh- getting a complete set of this armour is like getting a full set of armour from Legion. So don't hold your breath

I did some research into this and lol is all I say, to get a whole set is nearly impossible. The pieces are nice for sure, but to gain full benefit from the different abilities they have you have to wear the whole set. Maybe a powerful guild can gather all parts and hand them to one person, otherwise, chanses to get a full set is.... zzz

On the other hand, permanent endregen for instance is just *drools* sooooooo good so the difficulty to get a full set is quite approperiate perhaps

not likely..our alliance can probably do all the 4 horsemen, which drop all kinds of calss specific armor...Infil items are from Fame I think ;I

There's a full set of zerk armor there too.

Besides, these pieces don't drop from just the highest mobs in the epic dungeon -- they drop from lesser mobs as well.

Yeah, only the extremely dedicated AND popular/lucky people have a chance is going to be able to get a set ... it would be like trying to get a specific legion drop .... 6 times and you cant equip any of the parts until you have all 6. To generate motivation

One possible way would be for all the parts to be held centrally by a trusted guild/person. Then when a suit is completed, it could be raffled such that you get 1 "ticket" for each raid you attended (and class specific) Though people would have to be willing to participate with the knowledge that they would probably spend days of played time and still have a tiny chance of getting the set. Also if there are specific mobs for specific drops then even mob selection would be a thory issue . Tbh, it would probably split realms alot more than bring them together

It certainly something that needs a realm to do and cant be accomplished by individuals, people would need to do it for the realm's benefit rather than person gain.

I think most of them suck tbh all are 35 imbue ie a 3 point OC on a MP armour, which is very easy to do atm. Only real bonus in having these is they maintain class specific epic skins, but even then only the Chest/Sleeves/Legs are actually noticeable.

I am hoping one day they introduce a craft line/subline to add custom designs to crafted armour, running round in armour that looks the same as what a level 1 character can wear is quite frankly boring.
