Not one for the sports forum

Was listening to Talksport yesterday and Mike Tyson is doing a mini tour of the UK along with Frank Bruno in November. Its a three date tour in London, Birmingham and Manchester. Sort of like a Sportsmans dinner. Sit down meal and then an audience with Mike & Frank

UK Immigration state that anyone who has served more than a year in prison should not be granted entry to the UK unless its for very exceptional reasons. As Tyson is a convicted rapist and served over 12 months for this, then should he be allowed in the UK which some may argue is just to make a few quid off the back of his career.

No doubt the event will be entertaining and would be worth the entrance fee. Wanted to find out what other peoples thoughts were on this

I see no problem with him visiting the country.

Although he was convicted, it was wrongly and I think by the girls statements it was pretty clear he didn't rape her. That said, he is still a bit mental.

I would rather hear what he has to say about his career than Frank Bruno about his.

Who the hell are we to give this bloke a re-trial? Nobody!
It's all too vague. What do we know?
We know this bloke wants the pennies...

Why not, it's not like everyone else isn't allowed in

I don't think he should be allowed in (convicted criminal and all), but could somebody else tell him please? Ta.

No

I don't want him in the country either.

When he's cleared of raping 'that' girl he's welcome until then the same laws that would apply to you or me should apply to him.

Not too sure if he got convicted based on empirical evidence. If it was then it was a little more clear cut

Heh. Nothing better to worry about than whether Tyson can do his speech tour? Even the silly pics threads make more sense :twak:

So Jesus says, "Here's 3 nails, can you put me up for the night?"
