Should I join Hibernia?

Lo all,

I'm fairly new to the game (1.5 months) and have played Albion alot, recently I tried Hibernia and I really liked it.
Now I asked around to some people (they were Albion's btw) and they said that Hibernia is the weakest realm and can't accomplish anything in RvR. Is this true or is it true, I'd like to play Hibernia but I think I won't like it if we can't fight decent in RvR, could someone clear this up for me?

Typical Albion response that "They're small and insignificant and can't do sod all in RvR" Which is obviosuly why Albion spends all its time camping emain amgs and hold no relics whatsoever while Mid and Hib have 3 each (go figure)

Hib is generally called overpowered with baseline stuns and everything (although i'm sincerely beginning that this simply comes from being killed by them so much )

Prydwen does have a lower population than Albion or Midgard, that doesn't make it any less friendly though, try it and see how we smoke various mind altering substances and have mass orgies, <clears throat> Erm anyway back on topic, Hib rocks

Come play and see if you have fun here, being the most uber in RvR doesn't always equal the most fun.

Every realm has it's on and off days. What we lack in numbers we make up for in determination, organization and power.

well we took the CK in Thid last night so aint that weak in RvR (if you can call BG's RvR)

cant say about the high lvl RvR as i aint there yet, but as Psy says... we do hold all the pow relics...

Aurorax if you like playing on hib than just come over and play it, dont have to listen to what others tell you about other realms cause most of the time it isit nice stuff anyway

We have a lower population thats true but we are doing fine in RvR and on a whole we have a closer communite making the whole gaming experience fun and thats the bottom line isit not?

If you do come over ... which i know u will give me a msg in game if you need any help or advise : )

About the high lvl RvR sucks in Hibbieland, according to Albs, that´s because it´s looked at from a tincan point of view..
Albs love RvR when they win, so that usually means they need to outnumber us 10:1, so you need a lot of people for that.
Here, the Alb brain starts thinking..
1: we want to win
2: we need many people to win
3: Hibernia doesn´t have much people
4: Hibernia RvR sucks.

Anyway, don´t think about that, if you like the realm, stick to it.

hibs are easily the best realm just on the pryd server there arnt enuf lvl 50's yet...although when you hibbies zerg ouch u hurt.

If you enjoy playing Hib more than Alb then you should join no matter what others say about us .

I think considering our numbers we do quite well in RvR. The recent power relic raid was a great example of our realms teamwork and spirit .

In saying that, there are disadvantages to our limited population, the main one being that as a new player you will probably find it a lot harder to get XP groups than what you might be used to.

On the whole most Hib players are a pretty friendly and layed back bunch and I dont imagine it will be difficult to find a guild or get advice should you wish to settle here.

After comming back to the game after a 1½ month break, I can't seem to find the old spirit again. Midgard is getting full of people only playing for PL'ing and there is way to many leet pees there t00. So I was thinking why chance server ? I like this little cute server, and why not start playing the best realm .... thats hibi is my eyes. They have in my mind the best condisions for rpg/events, their races insure this, plus they have some kick ass classes and a world that I once thought looked like something from a Disney film

haven't desided yet as im playing 2 single player game atm, plus im spending quite some time on school work

But but but I think old Gromnir and his children will be comming to hibi land .... if you want me that is

i have played alb since day one on excal and recently started playing hib on prydwen.
i find myself kicking myself for not playing hib from day one.
the ppl i have met on pryd/hib have generally been friendly and helpful and the place is more fun to play in.

Gombur join hib... Mattshanes did semi kinda almost type thing but then disappeared cos he got 2 level 50 pointless gimps who cant do shit in rvr.

Seriously though, if after a month you don't feel like Albions the realm for you... I doubt it will get any better. If your character isn't too high in level, go to Hib now and see how you like it.

The only disadvantage is, if you like to play very-late at night, don't expect to find any RvR groups. I very rarely see hibs after 2am, if at all.


I'm half-considering getting a second account to play on Hib. I hated the place during the beta, Firbolgs looked weird and Luris scared me. No one around here stocks the game anymore... but if I can find one, I'd like to experience RvR from another perspective.

That, and people from Hib certainly seem more mature then the average alb/mid.

I have to agree to this although I´d still advice you play on neither Alb or Hib but ofcourse on Mid!
