Should I give up and play US GOAC?

Is this a real option to play the US version of GOAC?

Does anyone do this, if so I have some questions

1) Can you install Euro and US at the same time?

2) Is playable here, or do the ping times make it to laggy

3) Does the time difference make it a poor place to play early on?

Be grateful for any advice!

We had a chap in our rtcw clan.. he had US cable and pinged 100-200 on our servers

Nocturne.rtcw played on US server the other day and reported pings of 150-300 usually around 200 tho

Is DAOC playable with a ping? I am on cable atm so I have no idea of pings in the game

Dont see why not. Just dont install one over the other

Only time ive had a problem with lag, is when theres been some problem with the servers. Im on cable, but a couple of my friends use dial up and they dont have any problems staying connected.

3) Does the time difference make it a poor place to play early on?

Theres normally people on 24hrs a day, but they are US servers, so they get packed during US peak times (not that its ever a problem. the game works better with more people)
