Could be your CTRL key is stuck, ask CTRL+SHIFT causes the cursor to jump... Try giving a mighty blow under the keys (and be warned, as older keyboards generate a bucket-load of crap!), and failing that, invest in a good ol' tin of air... Office World do it, Air Duster or some such, but it costs a fiver!
Of course, you could try smacking the CTRL buttons a few times, see if that does it.
If it's just a DAoC specific problem - that is, it doesn't happen in anything else - then I have NO clue!
