shift button

since 1.54 i have a weird problem...the shift button doesn't work anymore when typing a text in daoc chat. Well, it does work, but when i press it, the cursor jumps back to the beginning of the line

so when i want to use a question mark at the end of a sentence i get this

?question.....

i tried changing keyboard config, but nothing worked

I believe pressing 'Insert' will stop this (while in the game) - if it isn't insert, its' one of the keys in that little square - inset/home/page up etc...
