anyone know if this encounter is bugged?

for the past 2 weeks i've logged in or camped the chest spawn loc randomly and never seen it up or even camped once. i've camped for 4 hours 1 time, 9 the next, then logged in at random times and never ever seen it up :<

given up on them, they are a real pain in the ass to xp anyway, but im almost certain the encounter is bugged, checked another 4 times today, no box ;o

the box can be very hard to see (imo ) i satthere for an hor before i realise i had been sitting looking at the box

but yet they are a pain in the ass to level

Did it a week ago or so .. been leveling a little on the sharks there (my hunter is only 46) and seen it up after that too. Its just that it is so easy to do and on a long repop timer that its rarely up.

If it hasnt gotten bugged this week that is.

you sure about that? I had the gloves as my first arti in ToA, around the start of ToA... still only lvl 4... they level really slow

Yes, it's very easy to do, so wouldn't surprise me if ppl did it to get the arti to sell or smth.
Might have been someone there, camping stealthed, those sharks can come quite close now and then


Leveling them aint all that bad. 3 days at the Staff of god encounter, chaining neutral, orangecon sharks. Just park in the middle of the camp and start killing. It's not even close to as horrible to lvl as gsv.

Yes they are hell to level .. i wish there would be a moderna like spot for levelling the damn gloves

its slow, must agree, even i have bot still get frustrated some times.
lvl same time sun belt to 10 and this helped littlebit when see how fast other artifact earn xp, day time

Well if you get the gloves you MUST level them to atleast lv8 to get the last resists, imo its worth to go the last 2 levels to get the arrows.
I have read somewhere that they are supposed to do more damage and have better accuracy, but after a few tests im very doubtfull of it.

The gloves dinged 10 a little while after my belt of sun, the worst thing about leveling them is that its so damn boring to level underwater, and on the same mobs all the time. The fact that the camp bonus is very low or non existant in the staff of god area isnt that fun either.

One positive thing though about leveling other artis there along with the gloves is that they dont wear down in con that much since the sharks very seldom hit you.
