Shammy DOT & Disease Questions

Hi,

I am finally getting close(ish) to a level where I think RvR will be more viable, but have a couple of questions about my Disease and DOT.

1, The DOT, if I cast it, does that make the targets immune from getting mezz'd for the duration of it?

2, Does Disease break Mezz? and can a diseased person be mezz'd still.

Would just like to find out so that I dont unmezz half the battlefield and make the other half immune from it, I dont think i would be too popular

Thanks for your help
:D

1 - DoT doesn't make the target immune to mezz, but breaks it whenever damage is caused by it. but still, casters won't be able to do anything, or near enough.

2 - Disease breaks mezz <not root though I think>but a diseased target can still be mezzed.

Tried and tested on my poor bard who stopped most of the shamans spells anyway :)

You can disease/debuff a rooted target as much as you like without breaking it, only damage breaks root. Bear in mind a caster will just kick your arse from root though. :p

DoT will only interrupt casters with the firs tick. Rest is just damage without interruption.
